Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the ability to perform phlebotomy and a variety of technical and clerical functions in the Laboratory
- Performs routine laboratory procedures based on principles of human growth and development
- Handles blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid and other body fluids
- Adheres to Safety and Infection Control practices
- Provides customer service to clinicians and clients
- Trains new employees and students
- Maintains competencies and mandatory required education (ACE)
- High School or GED (Required)
- Driver's License - Department of Motor Vehicles
- 6 months - 1 year experience in phlebotomy and/or specimen processing
