The Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments, hospital visits, community outings, and other scheduled destinations while ensuring comfort, dignity, and excellent customer service.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
• CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle type
• Previous van driving, transportation, or healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to safely assist elderly or disabled residents
• Flexible availability to meet changing facility transportation needs
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and customer service skills
• Must pass background screening and drug test

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy visits, hospital discharges, and facility outings
• Assist residents entering and exiting the van, including wheelchair and mobility assistance when needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized vehicle
• Complete vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly
• Keep accurate transportation schedules, mileage logs, and resident documentation
• Follow all state driving laws, safety protocols, and facility policies
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and healthcare providers
• Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate service
