Versailles Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our Memory Care team! This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

As a Memory Care Activity Assistant, you’ll help create engaging, purposeful experiences that encourage socialization, movement, creativity, and connection. From music and games to crafts, celebrations, sensory activities, and one-on-one visits, you’ll help make each day special for our residents.

• Assist with planning and leading daily activities specifically designed for Memory Care residents

• Encourage resident participation while adapting activities to individual abilities and interests

• Lead games, crafts, music, exercise, social events, and other engaging programs

• Provide meaningful one-on-one interaction and companionship

• Help decorate and prepare for holidays, special events, and resident celebrations

• Support a positive, welcoming, and engaging Memory Care environment

• Work closely with nursing and other team members to support residents’ overall quality of life

• Assist with documentation and activity-related responsibilities as needed

• A warm, patient, and compassionate personality

• Someone who is energetic, dependable, and creative

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A genuine desire to work with seniors

• Ability to engage residents at different cognitive and physical ability levels

• Previous experience in activities, long-term care, assisted living, Memory Care, or dementia care is a plus, but we welcome candidates with the right personality and passion!
