Laundry Attendant
to provide service in our brand new laundry facility.

Job Requirements:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Inspect linens and towels for stains, tears, and wear, and report any damages to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of clean linens and towels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of laundry supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to hotel guests and staff.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic understanding of laundry detergents and chemicals.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.

• Able to work alone without direct supervision
• Demonstrate high degree of drive and determination
• Constantly recommend service and product improvement to better the operation
• Always keep the work area clean and tidy
• Attend all required meetings
• Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental polices/serviceprocedures/standards
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management
  · Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel
• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• Shifts may vary and include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required during peak seasons.

• Continuous standing 100% of the shift
• Inside 100% of the shift
• Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required up to 100 lbs. or more. Carts may be pulled up to 75 feet.
• Bending/kneeling required 70% of shift
• Mobile position required 100% of the time
