Director of Operations

Vincent William is an award-winning winery, restaurant, boutique inn, and event destination on the shores of Lake Erie. We’re building one of the Midwest’s most unique hospitality experiences, and we’re looking for a leader who wants to help shape what’s next.

The Role

The Director of Operations / General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while building systems, developing people, and driving operational excellence.

Working alongside ownership and the Executive Chef, you’ll lead all non-culinary operations across the restaurant, winery, boutique inn, private events, and guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop managers and front-of-house teams
• Create systems and improve operational efficiency
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members
• Ensure exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Oversee scheduling, labor, and daily operations
• Drive accountability through KPIs and financial performance
• Partner with ownership to execute new initiatives and grow the business
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture

Who You Are

• 5+ years of hospitality leadership experience
• Proven experience leading managers and developing teams
• Strong operational and financial acumen
• Calm under pressure and highly organized
• Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Excited to build something—not just maintain it
