Director at Ad Idem Consulting and Ad Atlantic IncOur client, a leading food manufacturing business, is seeking a dedicated HR Manager to oversee all human resources activities within one of their key plants in McComb, Ohio. This role involves partnering with site leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support overall business objectives and foster a productive work environment. The successful candidate will be pivotal in driving cultural change, talent attraction, retention, and ensuring full compliance with all labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a positive work culture by proactively focusing on employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.
- Oversee all employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to performance management and offboarding.
- Lead both the Performance Management and Talent Management processes to develop bench strength and manage performance levels.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify needs and design effective training and development programs.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
- Lead all plant-level employee recognition efforts to strengthen the employer-employee relationship.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics to assess program effectiveness.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist.
- Experience in large manufacturing environment with over 1,000 employees.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with a high degree of integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred.
