Job Description

This newly created position is to:

  • Recruit, hire and onboard new employees for factory and production positions.
  • Assist with communications for all employees and especially those speaking French as the bridge language.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in French and have a strong background in HR practices and procedures, with the ability to effectively support factory direct hire recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance initiatives.

This is an immediate opening.

Shift and Benefits
  • 1st Shift - Mon to Fri 7:30 to 4:15pm flex schedule with a 30m lunch

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment processes, especially of factory staff, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • French language translation.
  • Assist with employee relations, resolving workplace issues, and a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR administrative functions.
  • Act as a language and cultural liaison to enhance communication with diverse groups of employees.
Qualifications
  • Previous 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources in a factory environment (recruitment, onboarding, employee relations)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws is preferred.
