Description
Job Title: Sr. Recruiter
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: VP Talent Management & Talent Development
Position Type: Full Time Exempt
Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00/Yearly
Purpose of Position:To support the long-term success of the company through high-quality, timely hiring of hourly employees. To ensure that all hourly employment placement decisions are properly vetted, and the most qualified candidate identified. To ensure that all hourly employees and agency personnel receive all necessary onboarding to be successful in their assigned job tasks.
Recruiting:- Screen candidates.
- Maintain all hourly and salary applicant files ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Work with and maintain Recruiting module in the system ensuring that all open hourly and salary positions are posted within one business day of notification.
- Oversee full life cycle hourly and salary recruiting process.
- Collaborate with Director, Talent Acquisition to develop, implement, and monitor hourly and salary turnover metrics to identify areas of opportunity to improve the hiring and onboarding process.
- Source candidates through applicable websites and software and proactively recruit active and passive candidates.
- Oversee conversion of temporary agency employees to company hire.
- Effectively assess a candidate and refer to other positions if they are more suited for another role.
- Ensure that current CARE forms are on file for all positions.
- Schedule candidate interviews by working with the manager’s schedule.
- Send onboarding information to new hires.
- Set up drug-screening and physicals for new hires within 24 hours of receiving notification of intent to move to the next on-boarding step.
- Set new hires up for background checks.
- Ensure new hire paperwork is completed according to federal and company policies.
- Set up new hire orientation meetings.
- Inform new hires of their orientation meeting and expectations for the first day.
- Inform management of new hires who have not completed their proper paperwork prior to start date.
- Maintain I9 process.
- Assist new hires who have technological limitations to ensure a successful start.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with candidates, vendors, hiring managers.
- Utilize Recruiting module to hire employees.
- Participate in weekly Recruiting meetings for business alignments on staffing, HR updates, etc.
- Work with hiring managers to verify and improve job descriptions
- Develop, implement, and monitor metrics to measure and validate effectiveness of recruiting plan, not just the length of time to fill, but rather the success of the hire.
- Maintain Open Positions Report and present weekly to Director, Talent Acquisition. Evaluate and consult on why we are or aren’t filling positions effectively.
