Position: Sr Staff Technical Product Manager - Inbound Logistics

Job Description Summary

Senior Oracle EBS WMS Inbound Application Architect responsible for defining strategy and leading end-to-end architecture, design governance, and delivery for Oracle WMS inbound distribution processes. Partners closely with Product Management to translate vision into clear requirements, align stakeholders (Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners, Developers, Operations, IT, and vendors), and guide delivery by balancing new features, defect resolution, and technical debt.

Establishes scalable, supportable solution patterns and standards across the full lifecycle from discovery and design through build, integration, testing, cutover, hyper care, and steady-state support, enabling reliable execution and repeatable rollout to additional sites.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge and help organization gain the competitive edge.
  • Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Collaborate routinely with UX, Architecture, and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas.
  • Demonstrate expert persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager, and engineering teams.
  • Own the release and sprint backlogs; short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
  • Manage the backlog, continuously ordering and prioritizing to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations are always ready.
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Demonstrate strategic expert level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Engage frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing, and validation.
  • Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
  • Partner with Development Leadership to ensure a healthy development process.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Provide technical leadership to TPMs across the organization; expert in Agile.

Methodology:

  • Coach others.
  • Ensure design and implementation of Oracle WMS software.
  • Define overall architecture, conduct end-user training.
  • Develop and execute test plans; conduct CRP, SIT, and UAT.
  • Work with third-party integrations such as Parcel Carrier integrations and LTL/TL freight management applications.
  • Provide training on how a facility is configured in WMS to understand the WMS system function.
  • Develop WMS label printing and Web Report tools.
  • Implement Supply Chain Management solutions and analyze WMS application impact on these processors.
  • Support continuous business-process-improvement projects.
  • Support WMS quarterly system upgrades.
  • Document processors and incidents for audit controls.
  • Independently manage new WMS site implementation projects.
  • Independently manage project budgets, human capital, and project funds.
  • Work on WMS application integration, including integration to the ERP application and building future enhancements.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associate’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in implementing WMS functionalities.
  • Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. The employer will not sponsor visas for this position.
