Job Requirements and Responsibilities

  • 9+ years of Network administration experience in large enterprise environment
  • In-depth knowledge on network technologies on LAN, WAN and TCP/IP
  • Strong understanding on Routing, Switching and Wireless
  • Hands-on experience in Cisco Switches and Routers for LAN / WAN
  • Hands-on experience in Cisco Wireless LAN Cisco vWLC, WLC (5500, 9800), Client (2800, 3500, 3600, 3700 & 9100)
  • In-depth understanding of SDWAN and experience on Cisco SDWAN
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus 5K, 7K, 9K
  • Experience with WAN technologies DMVPN and MPLS
  • Strong knowledge Datacenter architecture is an added advantage
  • Be able to work independently, Team player, Pragmatic and solution driven
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of current networking technologies and specialization in Cisco Networking
  • Extensive hands‑on technical skills to cover installation, configuration, administration, and advanced troubleshooting of data networks in large enterprise that includes Wired & Wireless LAN WAN and DNS & DHCP
  • Experience of working within a Service environment and technical teams of IT experts
  • Experience of working on ITIL ticketing systems (Service now) and understand ITIL framework
  • Experience in representation in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
  • Experience of being able to highlight issues and solutions
  • In depth understand and troubleshooting skills for data centres networks
  • Maintain relationships with circuit vendor, Network Device OEMs, and other suppliers/ sub-contractors
  • QoS designing, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Installation and configuration of HA environment
  • Performance Management & fine tuning WAN technologies i.e., MPLS, MPLS VPN, IPSec VPN etc.
  • IP Address management, Access Management, and performance management
  • Configuration & Troubleshooting of Call out feature, SNMP, NTP, Network Redundancy features i.e., HSRP/VRRP etc, load balancing, policy-based routing, rate limiting, traffic shaping, VLAN, trunking and routing protocols i.e., BGP, EIGRP & OSPF
  • Manage DNS and DHCP services
  • Experience on traffic capturing and traffic analysing tools
  • Manage network device backup, restore, and reboot etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience working on Network Monitoring tools
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with network issues
  • Knowledge retention actively participate in documentation of technical procedures
  • Resolve moderate to complex (P1, P2 and P3) incidents and problems effectively and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for performing root cause analysis and long-term fixes
  • Responsible for implementation of medium to complex components of a project module, change request
  • Responsible for providing trend analysis to management team to enable them to make informed decisions
  • Work in a cross-cultural team and communicate effectively
  • Extensive experience in System Fault Tolerance, Networking Designing, Business continuity and Disaster recovery Cisco CCNA CCNP industry standard networking certifications Preferred
  • (1.) To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
