This professional position is responsible for providing project management services and coordination during the planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion of projects. Projects focus on data analytics and other components of data strategy, as well as application development, systems integration, and the software development lifecycle. This role will clearly and professionally communicate objectives, progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Experience managing application development and system integration projects.
- Knowledge of data strategy, data governance, and software development lifecycle (e.g., Dev Ops).
- Strong organizational, project management, communication, and change management skills.
- Technical knowledge in data analytics and related applications.
- Create detailed project plans, consider schedules, dependencies, institutional priorities, and resource limitations.
- Apply formal project management principles during planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and completion of projects.
- Coordinate efforts of project teams to facilitate cooperation and prevent delays.
- Develop and maintain standard project management documentation (project charters, plans, timelines, risk registers, issues logs, meeting agendas, status reports).
- Proactively oversee execution, follow up on task completion, report potential delays, and coordinate problem resolution.
- Focus on F&A/UHR Data Strategy projects and tasks.
- Manage application development and system integration projects, including software design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate technical projects requiring knowledge of application development, systems integration, and software development lifecycle.
- Utilize best practices for continuous improvement and industry standards such as Dev Ops.
- Assist project teams in software evaluation, procurement, and vendor management processes.
- Develop and maintain systems analysis documentation (data flow, system architecture, specifications, QA information).
- Lead or attend regular meetings to update leadership, staff, clients, and community on progress.
- Communicate objectives, progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Convey project team questions and updates to leadership timely.
- Respond to inquiries about project details from leadership and team members.
- Develop and facilitate formal presentations and communications between functional and technical teams.
- Utilize standard status reporting templates and tools such as scorecards, dashboards, and other visuals to represent progress.
- Works on a computer at a desk.
- Light lifting, standing, and walking up stairs.
- Position not a Position of Trust.
- No financial resources access or P-Card use.
- No direct interaction with children under 18 or patient care.
- No security access beyond required noise.
