Business Systems Analyst Consultant – Python, SQL, ETL Design

Responsibilities

• Provides solutions for IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.
• Participates in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
• Monitors client experiences and feedback on the use of business applications; enhanced system productivity, as needed.
• Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
• Analyzes, defines and documents client requirements, and revises existing systems logic challenges, as necessary.

• Comfortable communicating with vendors and internal service partners.
• Experience eliciting functional and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in the Development and Project Life Cycle.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and within project management platforms such as JIRA.
• Knowledge of coding languages and other technologies such as Python, Informatica ETL, SQL, XSLT, XML, and APIs.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• ETL design and implementation, data modeling, mapping, and validation preferred.
• Knowledge of Workday and Workday integrations preferred.
• Familiarity with Service Now as a demand and incident management platform preferred.
