The successful applicant will be responsible for hardware and software queries, installation, configuration and management of hardware and of the firm’s Helpdesk Application including, but not limited to the following:
- Answering and addressing Helpdesk requests in accordance with the firm’s policies.
- Creating, maintaining, and improving the Helpdesk Knowledge Base.
- Documenting all software information.
The successful applicant will be required to work with various departments within the firm and must therefore be able to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal, be able to use their own initiative, be willing to work overtime when required and is expected to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. The successful applicant must be willing and able to fulfill other IT related tasks when necessary.
The firm is seeking a young and ambitious graduate who is eager and willing to work hard, and the firm offers appropriate mentoring and training.
- Must possess a Computer Science degree and at least 2 years’ relevant working experience in a related field.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and any of the following would be an advantage:
- Basic Networking knowledge, including network access and connectivity troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Remote Support Tools
- Basic Knowledge of Active Directory and M365 Administration
- Experience with SharePoint on prem and/or online
- Knowledge of Microsoft SSRS and Visual Studio
- Familiarity with software development best practices
- US $45,000 to US $80,000 per annum, commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant. A full package of benefits is also offered including pension, health and life insurance.
