Leads the strategic functional direction of a global enterprise ERP environment, ensuring cross-functional coherence, process standardization, and long-term platform evolution. Serves as a senior functional authority, translating business strategy into a unified, scalable ERP roadmap supporting global operations and end-to-end business processes.
Responsibilities Strategic Governance & Platform Direction- Provide strategic direction and governance across global ERP functional capabilities and business processes.
- Drive global process standardization and convergence, aligning processes, data, and solution approaches across regions and business units.
- Translate business strategy and operational priorities into functional ERP direction and platform roadmaps.
- Shape the long-term evolution of the ERP environment, anticipating business requirements and identifying opportunities for simplification and standardization.
- Establish governance principles that promote scalability, consistency, and sustainable platform development.
- Own the prioritization of ERP functional enhancements and capabilities, balancing business needs, dependencies, available resources, and long-term transformation objectives.
- Assess and refine business demand to ensure initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities and established solution standards.
- Resolve competing priorities across regions, functions, and business units using a consistent decision-making framework.
- Ensure investment decisions reflect enterprise-wide priorities rather than individual regional requirements.
- Coordinate feasibility assessments, high-level functional solutioning, and design governance across relevant functional teams.
- Review and validate functional solutions and configuration changes for consistency, scalability, integration impacts, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Assess cross-functional dependencies and the longer-term implications of solution and design decisions.
- Ensure platform changes support future flexibility and avoid unnecessary complexity or technical debt.
- Review and govern functional enhancement roadmaps, including scope, dependencies, priorities, and delivery plans.
- Monitor progress and completion of functional enhancements, configuration changes, and release activities.
- Ensure delivery milestones remain aligned with agreed commitments and business priorities.
- Validate that delivered solutions meet defined functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Provide governance and escalation support where delivery risks or cross-functional dependencies arise.
- 8–10 years of experience in enterprise ERP product ownership, functional leadership, process governance, or a comparable role.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-scale ERP capabilities across multiple functions, regions, or business units.
- Experience driving global process standardization, functional alignment, and business process convergence.
- Proven ability to prioritize complex enhancement backlogs while balancing strategic, functional, technical, and operational considerations.
- Experience working in matrixed, geographically distributed organizations with multiple senior stakeholders.
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced degree or relevant professional qualifications may be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of enterprise ERP platforms, functional architectures, module interactions, and integration concepts.
- Ability to evaluate functional impacts, cross-functional dependencies, and the long-term implications of solution decisions.
- Experience with ERP configuration governance, release management, and platform enhancement processes.
- Working knowledge of enterprise data models, business process harmonization, and ERP transformation methodologies.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and functional levels.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operational processes, including areas such as procurement, inventory, order management, logistics, and planning.
- Ability to translate business and operational requirements into functional ERP solutions and specifications.
