Responsibilities- Managed underwriting for Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability, including Crime, Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Pension Trustee Liability (PTL), Professional Indemnity, Cyber Liability, Employers' Liability, and Public/Products Liability
- Oversaw underwriting performance and portfolio profitability, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
- Monitored portfolio performance, identified trends and risks, and implemented corrective actions to improve profitability and underwriting quality
- Delivered underwriting KPIs while maintaining strong underwriting discipline, risk assessment, and decision-making standards
- Assessed complex risks, evaluated their impact on profitability (P&L), and ensured alignment with business strategy and underwriting authority
- Built and maintained strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to support business development and technical excellence
- Supported broker development initiatives and contributed to new business opportunities
- Conducted underwriting reviews, quality assurance activities, and portfolio control processes
- Collaborated closely with Sales, Distribution, Pricing, Claims, Operations, and Compliance teams
- Prepared and managed insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and related documentation
- Maintained accurate underwriting records and delivered high-quality service to commercial clients
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial Insurance Underwriting
- Strong knowledge of Liability Insurance, including D&O, Professional Indemnity, Cyber, Employers' Liability, and Public/Products Liability
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent risk assessment, underwriting, and decision-making abilities
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken)
