The State Group is seeking a Project Director to work on a project in the state of Kentucky. This is an 18‑month project, with the potential for additional opportunities once the project concludes.

- Oversee the strategic planning and day‑to‑day operational management of mission‑critical facilities, ensuring high reliability and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement initiatives that improve efficiency and resilience within mission‑critical operations.
- Lead risk management and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budget allocation and optimize resources to effectively support mission‑critical operations.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence by promoting training and development in mission‑critical protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on operational performance and strategic initiatives.
- Continuously identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to enhance overall effectiveness and system reliability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience working in mission‑critical environments, including data center management, operations, or facilities management.
- A background in operational oversight, ensuring reliability, uptime, and performance in complex facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or related field experience.
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience, with demonstrated success leading teams.
- Ability to manage complex operations, balancing strategic planning with daily operational demands.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. - Solid technical expertise, enabling effective decision‑making, problem‑solving, and oversight of mission‑critical systems.
