DreamBuild Manager

Job Summary
Frontier Housing has served northeastern Kentucky communities since 1974 by developing housing for homeowners and providing owner-occupied repair services. Frontier offers a supportive, fast-paced work environment, where we work together to build better communities. The Dream Build Manager will carry out Frontier’s Dream Build program under the Director of Construction. The program utilizes grants and low-interest loans to complete construction. The Dream Build Manager will collaborate with Frontier staff from Construction and Lending to carry out the Dream Build operations.

This position is exempt.

Duties

• Work with other Frontier staff to determine Dream Build needs.
• Work to setup and establish factory.
• Establish, maintain, and improve work flow.
• Ensure proper completion of projects.
• Supervise Dream Build staff including daily activites, creating schedules, time sheet and PTO approval, performance reviews, etc.
• Maintain detailed material and labor costs during construction
• Create and maintain inventory process
• Work with Construction Manager to acquire subcontractors while following Frontier’s procurement procedure.
• Report to finance department as needed through data platforms
• Plan and organize logistics for transportation and setup of boxes
• Perform other related work as required

Requirements

• Manufacturing management
• Strategic factory layout and internal functions
• Expert attention to detail and record keeping practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Ability to work with staff from diverse backgrounds, including people of varying economic means.
• Skilled in Microsoft software products, such as Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Knowledge of, and an affinity for, Frontier’s mission, and for energy-efficient construction practices and methods.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with manufactured construction.
• Knowledge of Kentucky Industrial Building Systems and DOT regulations
• The ability to speak Spanish.

Compensation:Competitive pay and benefits package, including a cell phone

allowance, based on experience.

Location:Dream Build Factory in Martin County, Kentucky

In addition, the successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout Frontier Housing service area and to trainings, located throughout the country.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
