* Position Summary:

*** Supervises warehouse and/ or production activities and personnel. Assigns staff and monitors the flow of products through the plant. Make recommendations for process improve men

* Essential Functions:

**** Ensures operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming receipts and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
* Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment. Communicates the need  for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
* Collaborates with other distribution centers and business leaders to ensure coordination of all business.
* Participates in employee safety and plant protection activities.
* Provides leadership, ensures adherence to company practices and procedures, applies corrective action when needed.
* Interviews, trains, and retains staff.  Conducts performance monitoring of staff, initiates follow through with disciplinary action when appropriate for the department.  Mentors, motivates, and develops staff and serves as a role model and resource to them
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*** Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
**** Excellent attention to detail and strong motivation toward company, team, and individual results.
* Ability to work effectively with others as well as build and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships.
* Must be able to read, analyze, present, and interpret written documentation.
* Ability to respond to questions from groups of managers,
* Must have good time management and organizational skills.
* Must have a good understanding of USDA regulations.
* Ability to solve business problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule formats.
* Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.

* Networked printer/ copier/ scanner.
* Google Applications (Chrome, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.)
* Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer)
* Telephone and Voicemail.
* SPECIFIC SOFTWARE FOR COMPANY
* RF Scangun
* Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV)
* Shrink wrap machine
*** Minimum Years of

Experience:

**** 3 Warehouse experience required. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
