The Director, Central Operations reports to the VP, Call and Clinical Operations and manages a team of patient operations managers. You will work cross‑functionally with leaders across Fuze Rx to translate our technology infrastructure into measurable operational performance, oversee the Patient Operations Care team, and drive initiatives that ensure a seamless patient experience across our automated dispensing and API‑integrated platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee performance and growth of Customer Service, Prescription Processing, Client‑specific teams, and manage both internal staff and external vendors.
  • Lead operational excellence across central fill pharmacy networks and courier delivery operations.
  • Drive business success and increase efficiency while lowering the cost‑to‑fill using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage quality, turnaround time (TAT), and customer satisfaction metrics to keep Fuze Rx the preferred infrastructure partner for telehealth and pharma partners.
  • Establish reporting and capability requirements, collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver data‑driven insights.
  • Analyze data to forecast staffing needs based on program performance, optimizing resource allocation across multiple roles.
  • Lead a large team of managers, supervisors, and team members, fostering a positive employee engagement environment.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharmacy services, digital health, or health tech sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi‑product patient operations teams within a highly regulated, compliance‑intensive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement new programs and procedures that drive business transformation and organic revenue growth.
  • Experience managing omni‑channel support (email, text, etc.) and deep understanding of CRM and EMR systems, TPOS a plus.
  • Strong organizational planning skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly evolving market.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex operational data to diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders.
  • Preferred:
    Experience building or scaling digital pharmacy or specialty pharmacy infrastructure platforms.
Physical Requirements

Work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods; periodically move away for in‑person meetings; stoop, bend and reach for equipment and supplies; perform frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers; lift, carry, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds. Must effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.
