Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Project Management for National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) facility, logistics, and supporting digital/IT operations. The Project Management oversees the operational aspects of NSIC Operations and Facility projects and acts as the primary liaison between S4/6 leadership, project teams, line management, and external mission partners (e.g., NASIC, DCMA, base support agencies). This role manages complex programs and initiatives spanning facilities modernization, seating and space utilization, SCIF security integration, and digital services, ensuring continuity of NSIC mission operations during change.
KeyDuties and Responsibilities
Facilities, Logistics & Project Execution
Oversee and manage the operational aspects of NSIC facility and logistics projects, including renovations, build-outs, and space reconfigurations.
Serve as S4/6 liaison to NASIC/base civil engineering and construction managers to ensure NSIC operational facility concerns, space utilization, and specialized requirements (SCIF, mission systems, secure communications) are fully communicated and incorporated.
Plan, sequence, and track personnel moves, furniture reconfigurations, and temporary relocations to minimize mission degradation during construction or maintenance.
Coordinate with supply chain, vendors, and base support elements for furnishings, equipment, and services required to execute NSIC facility and logistics projects.
Cross-Agency Integration (IT/Digital Services & Security)
Coordinate closely with NSIC, NASIC, and other mission partners to synchronize installation and integration of IT and digital infrastructure (networks, end points, collaboration tools) with facility work and project milestones.
Partner with NSIC and NASIC Security and Mission Assurance teams to identify, track, and mitigate physical, SCIF, and operational security risks that arise from facility projects, renovations, or incidents.
Support implementation of new processes and tools that strengthen facility, logistics, and digital services integration and improve resilience of NSIC operations.
Operations, Governance & Reporting
Serve as liaison between program management, planning, project teams, and line management for NSIC Operations and Facility projects.
Develop and maintain integrated plans and schedules; review status of projects and budgets; prepare routine and ad hoc status reports and executive-level briefings for NSIC leadership.
Develop mechanisms and metrics for monitoring project progress (cost, schedule, performance, risk) and for intervention/problem solving with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other oversight entities as required for facility and logistics activities affecting NSIC contracts or compliance.
Perform and support periodic self-governance / quality audits, tracking and reporting Mission Assurance or equivalent quality data to S4/6 leadership.
Resource & Stakeholder Management
Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams (security, facilities, IT/digital services, logistics, operations) to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives for NSIC projects.
Support workforce and resource planning for facility and logistics efforts; identify and escalation resourcing gaps or constraints.
Lead or support customer and stakeholder meetings, including agenda development, documentation, action-item tracking, and follow-through to closure.
