* What You Will Do:

* *** Responsibilities
* ** 1. Serve as project lead for regulatory procedure implementation and process improvement initiatives, including coordinating department training, communication protocols and national and divisional changes.
2. Manage suspect products including investigation, gaining control of the products, completing necessary documents for suspect product management, product release and final disposition and attending root cause meetings.
3. Process collections-related problems through the problem management system including ensuring reports are accurate, complete, clear and concise.
4. Process any combination of reports including customer complaints, material review board process, supply and equipment problem deficiency reports.
5. Develop, implement and monitor process improvement/quality improvement initiatives and staff training protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Ensure documentation of training and regulatory communications is accurate and timely.
7. Assist with internal and external inspections/evaluations including visiting blood drives and/or collection sites to assess for compliance and standardization and provide on-call support for collections processes.

* Education:

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of related experience required.

Experience with in the Process Improvement department highly preferred.  Skills & Abilities:
Relevant experience in problem investigation and resolution preferred. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, analyze problems, recommend appropriate solutions, and assimilate information quickly required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills to deal with all levels of staff, hospital personnel, physicians, volunteers and donors required. Proficient with Microsoft office applications. Ability to work on a team.

May have on-call duties.  Travel:
Some travel may be required.  The salary range for position is $57,000.00 - $59,000.00 / annually.
