Press Operator

Now hiring Press Operators in Middlefield for 2nd shift, 4pm – 12pm.

Monday – Friday.

Weekly pay ranging between $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience.

• Set up and operate the extrusion press according to the production schedule.
• Load raw materials (resins, compounds, colorants) into hoppers, verify correct material, weight, and settings.
• Monitor machine parameters and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimum production and quality.
• Inspect extruded product for conformance to specifications using measuring tools.
• Make corrective actions when product does not meet specifications.
• Changeover jobs when required: clean machine, die change, tooling setup.
• Keep production logs and documentation: recording machine settings, product quality data, downtime, scrap, material usage.
• Any other task requested by a supervisor.

• Must be able to list up to 100 lbs. as needed.
• Previous Press Operating experience is required.
