Job Description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position

Description:

Manual operators may work with a variety of tools and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, drilling presses, and grinders. They may use these tools to cut, sand, drill, face, and turn materials to manufacture or repair parts.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Calculate dimensions
• Inspect the workstation to ensure that the machine and other equipment are in working order, set up machine and load materials into it.
• Pay attention to tool settings to remain within tolerances.
• Adjust controls to correct for variations in tool settings.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure quality and precision
• Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance
• Inspect finished products using variety of inspection tool (calipers, mics, etc)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Working knowledge of machine equipment, tooling, and processes
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
