Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to join our Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign‑On Bonus to be paid as $1,000 at thirty days, $1,000 at sixty days and $1,000 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.)

SHIFT

HOURS:

Rotating schedule of Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday one week to Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday the next week; 5:00am‑4:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $20.00‑$34.00+ (dependent upon experience) with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year‑end profit‑sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Maintaining and repairing all plant production and mechanical systems in a timely, efficient, and precise manner, while maximizing production operation
• Properly and legibly completing required documentation including but not limited to: PM’s, PSM, work orders, etcetera.
• Utilizing I‑Maintenance program to ensure the preventative maintenance program is followed and kept up to date.

• Must be 18 years of age with a minimum of two years maintenance experience.
• Must have strong mechanical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Electrical knowledge of 480/240/120, control circuits and basic computer knowledge is preferred.
• Two‑year vocationa degree in maintenance is preferred.
• Maintenance experience on Egg Processing Machinery is strongly preferred.
