Overview
Consider joining the Pennex family as a Die Setter - Caustic in our Leetonia, OH location. This position is responsible for managing the flow of used dies through the cleaning process, as well as preparing samples for quality evaluation.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to use crane for assisted lift and positioning of extrusion dies. Places dies in caustic solution to clean them of aluminum residue
- Ability to remain organized with placement and management of extrusion dies through the cleaning process. Prioritize order based upon production needs
- Ability to wash, clean and dry extrusion dies
- Coordinate with the caustic refill schedule and process
- Communicate and coordinate with die shop on consumables, issues, priorities
- Use of time management is important for timing of activities happening at the same time
- Performs other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
- Willingness to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors, and in different weather conditions
- Consistently exhibits a positive, respectful attitude towards co-workers and customers
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsor ships are not available
- Must have regular attendance
