Summit Skilled Solutions is currently hiring LOCAL Ironworkers for a compressor station project in New Lexington, OH. This physically demanding role involves assembling, installing, and welding pre-engineered and standard structural steel components per blueprints and project specifications.

Rig and bolt-up structural steel components

Use plasma cutting equipment for precise steel cutting

Assemble and install beams, columns, girders, and other steel parts

Weld, solder, or bolt steel components to ensure structural integrity

Operate cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment safely

Interpret blueprints, sketches, and project documentation for accurate layout

Ensure all work complies with codes, standards, and safety regulations

Inspect completed work to identify and resolve defects or issues

5+ years’ experience as an Ironworker

Strong mechanical aptitude; skilled with hand and power tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Must live locally to the New Lexington, OH area

Must pass drug test and background check

Hourly pay between $28 and $30, based on experience

Guaranteed overtime on a 6/10s schedule
