Requisition
The Material Management team is responsible for inventory audits and maintaining inventory at optimum levels. It develops procedures to enhance the effectiveness of inventory control programs, coordinates with relevant departments to schedule, audit, and reconcile periodic physical inventories, and oversees incoming shipments of merchandise to ensure that inventory is accurate, updated, and provided according to schedules.
This Role In SummaryThe Master Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring operational stability and customer satisfaction by developing, maintaining, and executing the plant’s master production schedule. This role aligns demand, capacity, materials, and labor to create a feasible production plan that meets business goals. The Master Scheduler collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Materials, Finance, and New Product Integration (NPI) teams to support production continuity and on‑time delivery.
YourResponsibilities Will Include Master Planning and Scheduling
- Develop and maintain the plant’s master production schedule in alignment with demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and capacity constraints
- Analyze demand variation and adjust the schedule to meet customer requirements while minimizing disruptions
- Ensure the master production schedule adheres to corporate planning standards and aligns with S&OP outcomes
- Partner with Operations to evaluate labor, equipment, and line capacity to ensure feasibility of schedule plans
- Collaborate with Materials, Procurement, and Logistics to anticipate and resolve material shortages or constraints
- Recommend and execute schedule changes based on real‑time availability of components and resources
- Work with New Model Planning teams to integrate new product introductions or engineering changes into the production plan
- Communicate schedule changes and risks to key stakeholders across the plant
- Provide visibility of production status through reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics Continuous Improvement
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements in scheduling processes, scheduling accuracy, planning tools, and communication flows
- Support lean/world class manufacturing (WCM), inventory reduction, and throughput optimization initiatives
- Maintain data integrity within planning systems (SAP, ERP platforms, MRP tools)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- 3+ years in production planning, master scheduling, materials management, or a related supply‑chain role
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Experience in high‑volume manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in supporting new model launches or engineering change integration
