Role:
Production Engineer – Liquids Manufacturing Position Overview

Our pharmaceutical client is seeking a Production Engineer to support liquids manufacturing operations and drive process improvement initiatives. This role will focus on optimizing production processes, increasing manufacturing capacity, improving equipment reliability, and reducing downtime to support operational and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and production constraints to improve throughput, efficiency, and yield.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and implementation of new technologies.
  • Identify and resolve equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and enhance operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to drive sustainable solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best-practice sharing across the organization.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for production and equipment-related issues.
  • Communicate project status, action plans, timelines, risks, and costs to stakeholders.
  • Support capacity expansion and operational excellence initiatives within liquids manufacturing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment troubleshooting, and process optimization.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
