Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
* Complete daily work from a production schedule utilizing blueprints, standard work, and work instructions.
* Accurately enter data into the ERP (e.g., SAP) system and ensure that inventory is accurately stated.
* Maintain quality throughout the process.
* Conduct daily preventative maintenance on machinery.
* Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, assist other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders.
* Setup and operate Saw and Tumble Blast.
* Aid in operation of Large Brake.
* Handle material for Plasma Area with Crane.
* Contribute to facility 5S and Lean initiatives.
* Operate fork trucks and cranes.
* Perform daily activities safely.
* Identify and implement safety improvements.
* A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
* Experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
* Ability to read and interpret standard blueprints and other engineered documentation.
* Ability to read tape measure.
* Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
* Ability to work effectively with torches, cutters, staplers, hand/pneumatic tools, and hand tools (hammers, torque wrench, crow bars, etc.).
* Ability to safely operate Jib and overhead cranes.
* Ability to safely operate a forklift.
* Ability to perform quality inspections on own work and the work of others based on set expectations.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to learn basic computer skills involving SAP, TPM and Microsoft Office.
* Ability and drive to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.
* Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
* Strong organizational skills with a focus on details.
* Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality record.
* Ability to work overtime when required (some on weekends).
