Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator supports slitter machine operations by safely loading and unloading materials, handling products throughout the manufacturing process, and operating material handling equipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient production flow and offers a clear path to advance into a slitter operator position.

• Assist with loading and unloading material to slitter machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support slitter machine operation by preparing materials, monitoring production, and assisting the machine operator as needed.
• Perform general material handling duties, including staging, organizing, and moving materials throughout the facility.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and motorized pallet jacks to transport materials and finished goods.
• Follow production instructions and work closely with machine operators and team members to maintain smooth workflow.

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience, including operating sit-down, standup forklifts.
• Material handling experience in a production or warehouse environment.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Covington, KY. The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
