Operations Supervisor - Nights

Ocean Spray is hiring for an Operations Supervisor for night shifts. The role focuses on leading team members to achieve plant‑specific objectives, training and coaching staff, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accomplish manufacturing results by setting job expectations, monitoring performance, coaching, and enforcing policies.
  • Train, develop, and appraise team members.
  • Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, controlling variables, and resolving malfunctions.
  • Execute the production plan: schedule personnel, set priorities, monitor progress, and report shift summaries.
  • Ensure a safe and clean workplace in compliance with established policies.
  • Develop plans to exceed daily standard production rates while maintaining safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Lead continuous‑improvement projects and foster cooperation across departments.
  • Administer vacation, payroll, discipline, performance reviews, and monitor labor and operations budgets.
  • Provide overall leadership to operations teams (packaging, line‑maintenance, materials handling, processing) covering scheduling, event management, performance management, budget management, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain positive employee and labor relations.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of operational processes and machinery.
  • Strong problem‑solving and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
  • Ability to train and multi‑task.
  • High capacity for change and change management.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or university degree (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
