Assembly Technician Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations while following detailed work instructions and visual aids. • Perform routine mechanical assembly of components, assemblies, and subassemblies according to work instructions.
• Assemble inserted components manually using visual aids, diagrams, and specifications.
• Apply labels and identification markings accurately to products and components.
• Ensure all assembly tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

• Inspect parts and completed assemblies to verify proper assembly and compliance with specifications.
• Identify defects, damaged components, or assembly inconsistencies and report them promptly.
• Follow established quality control procedures throughout the production process.

• Operate scanners to track production activities and accurately record assembly data.
• Safely use hand tools and basic power tools required for assembly operations.
• Maintain accurate production records and assembly reports.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.

• Follow all company safety regulations, manufacturing procedures, and work instructions.
• Comply with company security policies and workplace standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all manufacturing and quality guidelines.

• Work under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Support additional production-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

• Experience performing mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools and basic power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.
• Basic problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the work shift.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners and data entry systems.
• Experience with assembly documentation and production tracking.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and quality control procedures.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive assembly tasks.
• Ability to visually inspect products and components for quality and accuracy.
