Pride Staff is supporting a great company in Latonia, KY finding an associate for a brand new position in their operation. 1st shift Mon-Fri $20-21/hr, Material Pre-Stage Associate, prepping the ingredients necessary to make and process the batches in production.
Great attention to detail is required. Previous chemical processing experience is a bonus!

As our operations expand, we are excited to introduce the Material Pre-Stage Associate role—a critical position designed to keep our production lines running smoothly and accurately.
Position SummaryAs a Material Pre-Stage Associate, you will be the backbone of our batch preparation process. Working independently, you will be responsible for accurately measuring chemical ingredients, documenting quantities, and pre-staging up to 7 production batches per day into designated buckets. Because chemical manufacturing relies on exact precision, exceptional attention to detail, legible handwriting, and rigorous adherence to formula cards are essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Formula & Batch Execution:
Carefully read and follow formula cards to measure exact quantities of liquid and dry chemical ingredients into buckets or containers. - Pre-Staging Operations:
Efficiently measure, organize, and pre-stage ingredients for up to 7 production batches per day to support the main manufacturing schedule. - Documentation & Record Keeping:
Accurately log measurements, lot numbers, and ingredient quantities on batch records. Legible penmanship is required for audit and quality assurance purposes. - Material Handling & Equipment:
Safely operate a forklift on occasion to move raw materials, pallets, and finished staged batches throughout the plant. - Safety & Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all plant safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements when handling chemical ingredients. - Inventory & Workspace Upkeep:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; report any raw material shortages or scale calibration discrepancies immediately.
- Experience:
Previous experience in chemical processing, compounding, batching, or industrial material handling is preferred. - Physical Capability:
Ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs independently throughout the shift. - Forklift
Experience:
Ability or certification to operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift as needed. - Attention to Detail:
High degree of accuracy with basic math and measurements; zero-tolerance mindset for skipping formula steps. - Penmanship & Communication:
Clear, highly legible handwriting and solid communication skills. - Independence:
Strong self-motivation and ability to work productively with minimal direct supervision.
