Strategic Marketing Leader – Power & Grid Segment

Schneider Electric is seeking a Strategic Marketing Leader for Power & Grid (NAM) to define and execute the segment’s market narrative, drive pipeline impact, and position Schneider as a leader in the energy transition. You will work in close collaboration with the Data Center segment and other key business units to deliver integrated, end‑to‑end solutions spanning power systems, grid automation, digital grid, AVEVA, and ETAP—advancing resilient, efficient, and scalable infrastructure to accelerate time to power while addressing capacity constraints.

This role is part of the NAM Power & Grid segment organization and will play a critical role in shaping the voice of Schneider Electric in the evolving energy transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a segment‑specific marketing plan aligned with segment strategy and growth objectives.
  • Develop clear segment positioning and differentiated value proposition across the energy ecosystem (generation → grid → distribution → digital).
  • Build persona‑based messaging frameworks (e.g., utilities, developers, EPCs, regulators, CTOs, asset owners).
  • Partner with segment leadership, sales, and offer teams to ensure tight alignment between strategy, pipeline priorities, and marketing execution.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor positioning to refine marketing strategy.
  • Define and lead integrated marketing campaigns focused on segment priority plays.
  • Optimize channel mix (digital, ABM, events, partners) to maximize impact.
  • Create a cohesive end‑to‑end story across Schneider’s portfolio:
Power systems + Grid automation + Digital + Software (AVEVA, ETAP).
  • Manage and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints:
Sales enablement, campaign messaging, executive communications, events and PR.
  • Develop high‑impact thought leadership narratives aligned to industry shifts (grid constraints, electrification, AI load demand).
  • Support executive visibility: keynotes, panels, media engagements, strategic speaking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with PR, analyst relations, and public affairs to elevate Schneider’s voice in the market.
  • Lead development of high‑impact, field‑ready assets:
Segment storytelling decks, strategic account kits, value proposition frameworks.
  • Own marketing performance tracking and reporting dashboards.
  • Manage budget allocation across priority plays and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to ensure quality of execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 8+ years in B2B marketing within energy, power, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of North American power & grid ecosystem.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to translate market/customer needs into actionable marketing plans.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence executives, lead teams, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and content strategy skills.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience managing marketing KPIs and reporting.
  • Comfortable with ~25% North American travel for events, team engagement, and strategic meetings.
Benefits
  • High‑visibility role where strategies directly influence revenue growth and market positioning.
  • Collaboration with strategy, product management, sales, and R&D on innovation and go‑to‑market execution.
  • Professional growth opportunities through complex, cross‑functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • A team that values expertise, judgment, and contributions to marketing success.
