Communications and Graphic Design Associate - Diocese of Toledo - Toledo, OH

The Diocese of Toledo is seeking a creative and mission-driven Graphic Design and Communications Associate to help advance the Church's evangelizing mission through compelling visual and digital communications. Working as part of the Communications team, this position develops and designs a wide range of print, digital, social media, and marketing materials that support the Diocese's mission of evangelization by helping communicate the Gospel, promote diocesan ministries and events, and engage the faithful.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education, professional experience, freelance work, internships, or demonstrated portfolio accomplishments may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated graphic design proficiency with a strong portfolio of print, digital, branding, and marketing projects.
• Proficient in various design applications including:
  Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Canva, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Creative Clous (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Google, and iPhoto with the ability to create and edit print and digital materials.
• Comfortable working in both Mac and PC environments, with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work closely with and maintain strong relationships with staff in all diocesan ministry offices, the ability to respect, promote, accommodate, and not be in conflict with the mission, moral and social teachings, doctrines and laws of the Roman Catholic faith
