The roleThe Affiliates Specialist will support the growth and development of Ferryhopper’s affiliate marketing program by identifying new partnership opportunities, managing existing affiliates, and optimizing collaborations to drive sustainable revenue and profitability.
As a member of the Marketing Department, this role combines marketing, performance analysis, business development, and sales skills. The ideal candidate understands how affiliate marketing contributes to the wider marketing strategy and is comfortable using performance data to evaluate results, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
At the same time, this is a highly relationship-driven and commercially oriented role. You will be responsible for approaching potential partners, presenting and negotiating collaboration opportunities, building long-term relationships, and continuously looking for ways to improve the performance of existing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Affiliate Partner Acquisition & Sales:
Research and identify relevant potential partners, proactively reach out to them, present the Ferryhopper affiliate program, and manage partnership discussions through negotiation and onboarding. - Partner Management & Growth:
Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, understand their needs, and work with them to improve collaborations, campaigns, and promotional activities, with a focus on increasing performance and ROI. Identify opportunities to expand the program across new markets, partner categories, audiences, and channels. - Affiliate Program Management:
Manage the day-to-day affiliate program, including partner onboarding, communication, campaign coordination, and ongoing partner support. - Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor and analyse key metrics such as bookings, revenue, conversion rates, commissions, costs, and profitability. Use performance insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. - Partner Quality & Compliance:
Monitor affiliate activity and ensure partners follow Ferryhopper’s terms, promotional guidelines, and relevant requirements. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing and other internal teams, including Commercial, BI, Accounting, and Engineering, to support affiliate growth and improve processes.
- Strong commercial and sales mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, proactively approach potential partners, communicate value, and drive partnerships forward.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage both new and existing partnerships.
- Good understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing, with an interest in how different marketing channels contribute to customer acquisition and business growth.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse performance data, evaluate ROI and profitability, and turn insights into actionable decisions.
