Organization: All Aboard Ohio
Location: Remote (Ohio-based applicants preferred)
Type: Unpaid Internship (Academic credit available upon request)
Duration: 10–15 weeks | ~8–10 hours per week

Position Summary:

All Aboard Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Nonprofit Operations Intern to support organizational development, fundraising efforts, and day-to-day operational activities. This intern will gain hands‑on experience in how a nonprofit advocacy organization runs behind the scenes and will assist with tasks that help keep the organization efficient and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and organizing fundraising events and donor campaigns
  • Support donor communications, acknowledgments, and database updates
  • Help maintain organizational records and assist with internal communications
  • Provide administrative support for board meetings or committee projects
  • Contribute to grant preparation, impact reports, or donor outreach materials
  • Support membership tracking and engagement efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in nonprofit management, fundraising, or public administration
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, Google Workspace, or CRM platforms is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented
