Overview
The APRN will provide comprehensive clinical services in collaboration with supervising physicians, including diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment for inpatients and outpatients in both clinic and hospital settings.
ResponsibilitiesWithin the cardiology ambulatory setting, the APRN works as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage cardiovascular care, coordinating with outpatient testing groups such as ECHO and stress testing. In the inpatient setting, the APRN oversees the care of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. The role requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical competency, and professionalism, with responsibilities for ensuring safe, quality care, maintaining timely documentation, and ongoing professional development.
QualificationsPreferred candidates have at least 3 years of APRN experience and must hold a valid Certified Nurse Practitioner/PA license. The work is conducted in person.
