Staff Nurse (RN) – Float Pool – Acute Care
OverviewThe Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC-James) seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality patient care in its acute care oncology units. The role is part of the Inpatient Nursing Float Pool, allowing rotation across ten different units.
Responsibilities- Manage and provide direct care to patients and their families.
- Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
- Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model.
- Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
- Current Ohio nursing license or interim permit.
- Experience in a relevant acute care oncology setting preferred.
Float Pool RN positions allow rotation across ten acute care oncology units at the James Cancer Hospital, providing diverse clinical experiences.

Schedule36 hours per week; varying shifts.
Background CheckAll final candidates must successfully complete a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
