Advanced Practice Provider - Rural Health - Physician's Office- Jackson

Job Summary

Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician in the clinic.

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri or current license as a Physician Assistant.
• BLS Certification.
• Three years' experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferred in Family Medicine.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public.
• Ability to maintain quality control standards and remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions.
• Ability to learn and efficiently utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs.
