Scope of PositionThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager serves as a liaison between advanced practice providers, Division leadership, and upper-level advanced practice leaders. The role provides professional practice leadership, education, and mentoring, and collaborates with physicians and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with APPs, fostering professional development and ensuring adherence to best practice standards.
- Provide health‑care services to patients within a standard‑care or supervisory agreement with attending physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver preventive, acute, and chronic care for patients.
- Oversee administrative and reporting activities as required by the department and provide insights and guidance to program leaders.
- Act as a liaison and advocate for APRN/PAs and upper-level leaders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on organizational goals.
- Translate system-wide APP strategic goals into operational activities and guide direct reports in their execution.
- Support and promote the professional development of APRNs and PAs through education, counseling, and referrals to resources.
- Master of Science in Nursing or Master’s in Physician Assistant Science.
- APRN license with NP certification or National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
- Eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA‑C.
- At least four (4) years of experience, including a minimum of two (2) years as an APP and two (2) years in a lead APP, formal administrative leadership, or educator role.
- Eight to twelve (8‑12) years of relevant experience preferred.

- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check and may require a drug screen or physical.
