Position Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering treatments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for patients. Your critical thinking and knowledge help improve outcomes and enhance delivery.
Responsibilities- Administer oral, injectable, and topical medications.
- Evaluate complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses.
- Apply advanced knowledge of vital sign monitoring.
- Perform routine assessments to monitor patient health.
- Manage patient access to healthcare and connect individuals to community resources.
- Conduct medication reviews to identify potential side effects and interactions.
- Develop and administer mental health assessments.
- Accurately document patient medical history in electronic health records.
- Use excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families and professionals.
- Active and in good standing LVN or LPN license.
- Successful completion of the NCLEX‑PN.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards.
- Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point‑of‑care testing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency with EMR systems;
Epic experience preferred. - High school diploma or GED; graduation from a state‑approved practical or vocational nursing program.
The typical pay range for this role is $22.40 - $48.67 per hour (or base annual salary). The actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors. Additional incentive programs may apply.
