Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Full‑time Nights 7 pm – 7 am at Jackson Purchase Medical Center, Mayfield, KY.

The Women's Services unit at Jackson Purchase Medical Center is an 8‑bed unit that emphasizes teamwork and effective communication to provide the best possible care to patients.

• Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Registered Nursing license required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
