Registered Nurse (RN), Medical‑Surgical – Full Time Night Shift

Schedule:

7p-7a, rotating weekends.

Up to $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus for eligible candidates.

Centerpoint Health – Paris is a 58‑bed acute care facility located in the Bluegrass region. The medical staff includes 140 physicians across 22 specialties. The hospital also provides a 33‑bed inpatient Behavioral Health service staffed by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, therapists, nurses, social workers, mental‑health technicians, recreation therapists, and Kentucky‑certified teachers.

The Med/Surg unit is a 16‑bed department providing comprehensive, patient‑centered care. The unit is fully remote telemetry‑capable, allowing nurses to closely monitor patients and support higher‑acuity care within a collaborative environment.

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching.
• Acts as a patient advocate and collaborates with ancillary and non‑nursing departments.
• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate interventions.
• Develops and implements individualized nursing care plans, revising as needed.
• Evaluates patient care outcomes.
• Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees.
• Administers medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing, required.
• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license, required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
