This Level 1 facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient gastroenterology services. The facility operates on-site and is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for the adult patient population served. Locum tenens gastroenterology nurse practitioner coverage is sought to address current inpatient staffing needs.

The gastroenterology nurse practitioner will provide inpatient coverage on a day shift schedule, Sunday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, structured on an every-other-week, 7 on 7 off basis. Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient gastroenterology consults and follow-up visits in accordance with established facility protocols. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in Gastroenterology and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
