Registered Nurse

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in our 295-bed acute care facility in Somerset, KY. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across diverse medical-surgical and specialty units, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor patient status using EMR systems. Working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, you will educate patients and families, support safe transitions of care, and participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives while using modern technology to serve the Lake Cumberland community.

• Provide holistic patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policies
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition using EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members on care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards in all care activities
• Participate in shift handoffs, care conferences, and performance improvement initiatives
• Support a patient-centered, compassionate, community-focused care environment
