The University of Georgia is seeking an Eastern Wild Turkey Research Technician for a project focusing on wild turkey reproductive ecology. The role involves nest monitoring, radio telemetry, habitat sampling, and data processing, among other duties. Candidates should have a B.S. in wildlife ecology or related field, experience with radio telemetry, and strong interpersonal skills. This is a temporary, full-time position based at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina.
Applicants must be willing to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
