Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer – Pharmaceutical
Location:
KY
Duration: 5+ Months Contract
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support a fast‑paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands‑on, requiring direct involvement on the production floor to ensure quality, compliance, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate and resolve quality issues
- Implement and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to specifications
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain SOPs and quality documentation
- Conduct inspections, testing, and dimensional analysis
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Production, Engineering, Quality)
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- 6+ years of manufacturing quality experience
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
- Experience with RCA, CAPA, and SPC tools
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
