** Key Responsibilities
**** Quality System Ownership & Documentation
*** Own the Quality System; assess the current state, build out formal documentation, and drive organization-wide compliance to it
* Develop and continuously improve Quality Procedures and Control Plans based on customer requirements and business needs
* Manage documentation related to quality reports, product testing, and regulatory compliance
** Process & Product Quality
*** Supervise quality inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
* Monitor product quality against internal standards and customer requirements, including dimensional accuracy, appearance, durability, and environmental compliance
* Work with production to establish quality checkpoints, inspection procedures, and process improvements
* Ensure lab equipment is functioning as expected, including managing the annual calibration process
** Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
*** Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and returns; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (8D)
* Conduct regular audits of processes, products, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards
* Lead internal teams in preparing for 2nd- and 3rd-party audits; close out any resulting corrective actions
** Supplier Quality
*** Ensure supplier quality through audits and incoming materials inspection
** Leadership & Culture
*** Lead and coach the quality assurance team, providing training and performance feedback
* Champion a culture of quality across the organization through communication and engagement## Qualifications
** Qualifications and Experience
**** Education & Experience
*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3–5 years of quality management experience in plastic manufacturing or similar industry
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and defect prevention techniques
** Technical Skills
*** Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality software (e.g., Minitab, ERP/QMS systems)
