This Post Doctoral Associate position is within the Department of Ecology, School of Ecology. The role is approximately 7 months to 2 years, ending no later than 30 June 2028.
Duties / Responsibilities- Develop biogeographic databases to be used in analyses – 65% of time.
- Produce at least two first‑author manuscripts and contribute to a third – 15% of time.
- Mentor junior scientists in the lab and contribute to lab group activities – 5% of time.
- Participate in biweekly meetings with project collaborators – 5% of time.
- Design and analyze empirical field projects on ecological interactions – 5% of time.
- Handle tasks with autonomy, using independent judgment with periodic input from the principal investigator – 5% of time.
- Programming experience in R or Python.
- Background in biogeography.
